Event Description

"Ants in the Pants" duo was formed in 1997, after a very drunken Irish music session, on a freezing Helsinki winters morning.

The band soon gained huge popularity on the Finnish Irish music scene, came, conquered and in 2001 found themselves living in Donegal, the home of Irish traditional music.

The band was deported from Donegal for playing traditional fiddle tunes and ballads all too up-tempo for local taste, and found themselves back in sunny Finland in 2003.

After a few tours to Holland and Germany, the Band is now based in Ochtrup, Munsterland (never heard? Don't worry, nobody has!), and tours the World and elsewhere!

The music consists of up-tempo Irish fiddle tunes, traditional ballads, and towards end of the show, we usually put in a few well chosen pop songs (Queen, Oasis, Green Day etc.).

But then, one gig tells more than a thousand words!
BE THERE, OR BE SORRY!!

"I've read a few comments on the infamous Steve Hoffman forum, talking more about the music than the quality of the release. One review was from someone who bought it in LA. So it seems that it is released. What confuses me John, is that the Ace…"

"Jymn , I'm pretty much certain it has'nt come out , yet. The first two were'nt released simultaneously , and they're probably giving the public some time , first , to get caught up with them. Of the total of TWO stores in Chicago…"
