I just saw The Stooges in July in Toronto.....that ranks up there with my favourite gigs....at 60 he is still a rock and roll madman.....a truly great show!

1. The Sonics @ Cavestomp! Hearing the opening chords to "He's Waiting" was something magical and unexplainable - the closest religious experience of my life.

2. Thee Mighty Caesars, The Wildebeests, The Wailers, The Untamed Youth, The Phantom Surfers, The Trashmen, Saturn V @ Las Vegas Grind in 1999

3. Thee Headcoats at Jabberjaw in 95? - Shitty club, but Billy played 2 complete sets and we managed to sneak in for both of them.

-The Stooges in NY has been the best way to celebrate my 30th B-day

-The Sonics in Barcelona, I was with my friends in the first row, just down the stage, dancing like monkeys. ten minutes after the show i fell asleep on the ground and lost Devo's show...

-The Black Lips in a very small, hot & wet venue here in Rome

Tav Falco and the Panther Burns headlining at Metro in Chicago. Alex Chilton opened and had a Bass Player fill-in who watched Alex all set to play the songs.

The Gun Club in Hoboken, 1988 or 89 (?) at I think Maxwell's. Saw the show with Wild Bill Thompson from The Senders, now Barbeque Bob and the Spareribs (plug for them)

The Jesus Lizard at the Vic, 199(?) What at tight band!
