First impulse - I may change my mind before too long:

X and the Big Boys at Club Foot, Austin, Texas, way back when (1981?) - the tour that X did in support of Under The Big Black Sun

Marked Men, Wax Museums, Hex Dispensers, Deskonocidos at Emo's, Austin, Texas, July 18, 2008, the Marked Men's last show in Austin for a long, long, long time

Riverboat Gamblers, Hex Dispensers at Red 7, Austin, Texas, May 31, 2008, broke my glasses at that show, yeah!

Oh wait, can't limit it to just 3 there's more . . .

number one would hands down be the reunion tour of VH with Diamond Dave at the helm! Flew across the country on a red eye to Toronto to see the fourth show on the tour with my bro...LONG time fans.

number two would have to be The Rebel Spell, The Bronx and Bad Religion at the Commodore at the Commodore Ballroom, lets just say lots of sway, vinyl, mohawks and a nice gash above my right eye to end the night in the mosh pit

number three was front row for KISS at Copps with the bro, love the full make-up.

number four I'll save for Gov't Mule, Brian always gets me a backstage pass love ya man!

number five would be INXS at the Warehouse, rubbin' shoulders with a few local Satans Choice that night. It was the last show before he would perform in Canada before his death.

You'll have to tell me about the INXS show sometime. Wish I could have seen them with Hutchence.

Jesus Lizard - Garage in London erm that would be 1996 or something.

Guitar Wolf - Garage in London - 2004? maybe, saw them again doing the spitz but wasn't impressed.

Lee Hazlewood - London Royal festival hall - He didn't play all the best songs and he didn't play the ones he did play well, but it was Lee in the flesh and it was amazing.

My most memorable gigs are probably when I DIDN'T see GG Allin perform. He got kicked out of the Hong Kong Cafe for fighting (that was the rumor) and so he and his band didn't get to perform, anyway this guy comes walking out of nowhere with a white cape on and chonies (his undies) and were cracking up until we realize it's GG! So everyone starts to rush him until it all dawns on us that...it's GG! What are we thinking, stay away, stay very far away! So he starts saying that they can't play and if he and his band can play at someone's house. I had a friend who was a big GG fan but he wasn't there, so I didn't think it would be cool to invite him and his bandmates over. Later my friend said he absolutely would have loved it but well sometimes things happen for a reason.

2nd most memorable...the NY Dolls live in front of about 200 people for a Tower Records CD signing thingy for their newest album. I made Sylvain a custom hand embroidered NY Dolls iPod case and he was so happy he gave me a big hug and kiss on the cheek. *swoon*

3rd most memorable...The Cure w/The Pixies at Dodger Stadium (sometime in the late 80's) because they were my fav band at the time also it was my very first gig! <3

Can't believe I forgot when I saw Iggy perform for this small thing about a year ago (we won tickets)...guess it wasn't that memorable...but really it was!

^^^^ Hahahaha, that 1st one is amazing.

Sorta responded to this on my back up account when I was having probs w/ this one, but...

#1) The Subhumans in '96. Pissed off as ever! When a lot of old bands reunite, it's pretty obvious they're just they're for the money and bored as hell... but these guys put on a hell of a show and fuckin' MEANT IT.

#2) The Damned. Also in '96 I think? Good entertainers, really got the crowd going... naturally, a banana was involved : P.

#3) Batmobile. 2003 (???) at the Satanic Stomp. Amazing showmanship, great band, really, really got the crowd going, best band that weekend. Mad Sin came in a close second though.

Wow some crazy gigs on here!
Im amazed how you can remember the dates?
1. The Gun Club - Strathclyde Uni Union 1984/5 (I think).
2. The Cramps - Glasgow Barrowlands 1986.
3. Link Wray- Manchester 1996, Deuces Wild was awesome, he went into a trance induced state.
Would have to say two more great gigs.
The Damned- Edinburgh Odeon cinema,1982/3(i think),only scottish date in an all seated cinema,(bad idea).
Cinema got trashed, riot took place outside. (Chaos).
The Meteors - Tamdhu Stirling 1983.
Beam me up scotty.
