The GaragePunk Hideout

GaragePunk.com's Social Network

I really dig the Garagepunk podcasts, and the Barman's "Drunk & Disorderly" is pretty cool, but I need more.
So can you guys tell me some other cool music podcasts I can d/load to my mp3 player.
It doesn't have to be totally "garagepunk", cool, innovative and interesting music of any sort will do.

Go to the GaragePunk Podcast page in the iTunes store and look @ the sidebar that shows what other shows the subscribers also listen to... click on some of them and do the same thing; you'll find some pretty swell stuff!

Personally I dig the old time radio broadcasts/radio theater Podcasts! I'm especially hooked on Old Time Radio Network SciFi podcast... great stuff to listen to while laying in bed @ night.

I suppose I will have to go back to using iTunes, which is a piece of bloatware I have never liked.
It is always trying to reorganize my files and quicktime just shits me. Is there an iTunes lite?

Sorry, I'm a bit late on this but wanted to reply... on the main page of the GaragePunk.com podcast blog are a bunch of links that run down the right sidebar. Look for a section of those called "other podcasts"... quite a few great ones there to check out.

Cheers,

What do you mean it tries to reorganize your files? I don't have any problems with iTunes at all...

Here is a link to my weekly Podcast.
This week's edition features The Sonics, The Masonics, 7" vinyl from the Bedrock label,
new stuff from Thee Cormans and
The Rippers. Also heaps of caveman Garage Rock from The Makers, Morlocks, Urges and Purple Things, some 80's action from Agent Orange and Killing Joke, and one whole side of The Rockats 'Live At The Ritz' LP.

This is a podcast of an actual *radio* show, though, isn't it?

Eggman's show is a radio show that he streams live on his site, not a podcast, unfortunately.
