There were SO MANY great records released back then, it's hard to remember them all...here's a few off the top of my head that i still dig to this day:
The Saints...Stranded...ya, Lost Soul mentioned it as well. it's killer from top to bottom. The Vibrators....Pure Mania....so many songs and all good. Wire....Pink Flag.....like above
Siouxsie and The Banshees....The Scream....killer guitar sound.
Teenage Head....First Album....rockabilly on speed.
The Cramps....Songs The Lord Taught Us....liked Psychedelic Jungle even more, but it's from 1981
X Ray Spex....Germ Free Adolescence....buzzsaw guitar
all of The Ramones LP's within the time period.
The Dead Boys....Young Loud and Snotty.
The Pebbles compilation series....those records opened up a ton of doors for me....
