Don't forget The Mojomatics too

Well, being Italian I can say many, but Dead Boy is not wrong: Sick Rose are without any doubt the best italian garage band ever. I would add Pikes In Panic and, speaking about nowadays, The Intellectuals, Peawees, The Mojomatics, Loose and The Doggs. If you want to know more about the italian garage rock scene of the 80s, which includes among the best garage bands we've ever had, I suggest to look for the two volumes of "Eighties Colours", a fantastic garage compilation released by the label Electric Eye. If you want to know more about nowadays I may suggest you to follow some music blogs:

Sick Rose , agreed , tho' I only have one or two of their records , as well. Sergio used to live here in Chicago , some time back . Stand up guy , he was.

You can check out Sultan Bathery on Slovenly Records: http://slovenly.bandcamp.com/album/sultan-bathery-fireworx-ep

Hope this helps!

The Others, Italian garage band, mainly for their 1989-1994 era!

The Hangee Vfrom Sardinia

don't forget us, thee Bomb'o'nyrics! :)

and of course you gotta listen to the new amazing album of the tunas from bologna (more psych than garage-rnr).

if you like mummies style you dig for sure the hermits from piacenza and if you are craze for garage-frat you should listen to the titty twister orchestra.
