Well, being Italian I can say many, but Dead Boy is not wrong: Sick Rose are without any doubt the best italian garage band ever. I would add Pikes In Panic and, speaking about nowadays, The Intellectuals, Peawees, The Mojomatics, Loose and The Doggs. If you want to know more about the italian garage rock scene of the 80s, which includes among the best garage bands we've ever had, I suggest to look for the two volumes of "Eighties Colours", a fantastic garage compilation released by the label Electric Eye. If you want to know more about nowadays I may suggest you to follow some music blogs:

The Bomb'o'nyrics kick ass!

Yep, HANGEE V are fantastic, also BOMB'O'NYRICS, MOJOMATICS, like THE PEAWEES, too...and don't forget to mention THE HORMONETTES, THE RIPPERS and the legendary HITLER SS...

Try also Ray Daytona & Googoobombos from Tuscany. Surf/Garage/R'n'R played with great skill!

Can't go wrong with The Mojomatics...

Only Italian band I know is Negazione.

Are Raw Power Italian?

Oh, better add Mike Patton's album of schmaltzy Italian cover songs.

Hi Mr Yates, yes Raw Power is an italian band but of course they never played garage r'n'r but hardcore punk

"Love Boat" is a nice band from Italy.

Sick Rose

Love Injections(i believe they hail from Italia)total Stones sound matter of fact the Stones should cover a few LI songs might help em' a bit.

Here's another vote for the Hangee V. Also check out Pigi's new group Crudeli where he play the drums.
