Just read this on Facebook... Thee Vicars have a page here on the Hideout.

Sad news. Chris Langeland, guitarist and co-songwriter with Thee Vicars (the one on the right in the photo below), was found dead late on Wednesday evening. I'll be attending the funeral in Bury St Edmunds on Tuesday 7th August.

just the sweetest kid in the world, and so talented, and so funny,  ♡ You Chris !

Love going out to Thee Vicars & Chris's family right now, I'm so shocked. He was one of the most fun, awesome people I ever met. Super nice guy. R.I.P. xxx

Horrible news

He was a nice guy
RIP
Very sad...He was still so very young. My thoughts go out to his family and friends at this terrible time.

Gutted. His music will live on, though.

so sorry to hear. i just ordered an import copy of their latest from Dirty Water this week too.

such a good band. now in peace...

I'll miss him.  He was a really nice guy.

so sad...sympathy to his family & friends.x

My best to his friends and family. It sounds like he was great guy who clearly who will be missed greatly.

Too, too young. Saw them a few years back in Spain and if I recall right, one of their mothers was with them for the trip. Just kids. But a great band none the less. Condolences to all who knew him.

Our sincerest condolences.

Sad . Seemed nice and certainly a great guitarist with a unique mani(a)c style .

He's gonna be missed .
