Freddie Steady (Run by Freddie Krc , former Roky Erickson/Explosives Drummer.)

Krc puts out releases on The EXPLOSIVES , HIS OWN SOLO MATERIAL , AND THEY ALSO HAVE A GREAT LIKE ROKY W/tHE eXPLOSIVES CD - which Norton picked up th vinyl option.

Roots music - Country , Rockabilly , N'orlins , etc. Plus , he released the first full length US release on The Downliners Sect , recently.

SAUSTEX - ROOTS , PUNK , WHAT THE FUCK.

Get Hip , Sundazed , Bear Family.....

All of the above and more currently,

  • Trouble in Mind
  • HoZac
  • Dirtnap
  • Slovenly
  • Hardly Art
  • Goner
  • 1234 Go!
  • Douchemaster
  • Tic Tac Totally
  • Castle Face

Sorry , Freddie Krc's label is actually called Steady Boy. Pick up on it.

Yep Rock is still doing some great stuff , and have a good variety of artists in their stable. Even tho' they would'nt spot me any promos for review....Grumble , grumble.

Big Beat in The UK , still going strong (I trust.). Rave - Up in Italy is doing too many unreleased Punk gems to keep up with.

Is Ryan Richardson still doing Existential Vacuum ? More way cool Punk Junk , not the kind that stunk. Look up his Rock Scene magazine website !

Cicadelic is actually improving from their 80's "Heyday"....If you see the 1972 Shadows of Knight Live CD , it's a keeper for fans of stone Punk/Metal Bubblegum ala Brownsville Station.

RJFait replied to Reverend Stevee Ray's discussion the Beatles ... why NOT ?
"The Fabulous Wailers, The Leaves, The 13th Floor Elevators and The Seeds would have been some heavy shit with or without the Beatles. Would the Beatles have been nearly as heavy without them? I find that very doubtful. The Beatles were a pop…"

RJFait replied to Reverend Stevee Ray's discussion the Beatles ... why NOT ?
"I don't hate the Beatles, I just think the bulk of their work was gutless pop. At some point in the middle they started getting better drugs or something and put out a few good records. Then, they went right back to gutless pop."

RJFait replied to Rocco's discussion The Age Ole Question; Beatles or Stones?
"It's funny that you ask this. I've always said, there are 2 kinds of people, Beatles and Stones, and they don't mix well. I am definitely Stones, my wife is Beatles. If only I'd asked 11 years ago..."

RJFait replied to matthew rosedon's discussion Too old to rock?
"Yes, both pushing 70, and the last time I saw Charlie he was practically dying from the flu and still performed with more energy and rocked harder than just about any other punk singer I've seen of any age. Iggy Pop is 25 years older than I am…"
