Greetings and salutations, Hideout members!

Now that the holidays are behind us, it's time to get back to the business of rock'n'roll social networking, and of course that means supporting and staying involved with the GaragePunk Hideout, the best garage/punk/rock'n'roll community on the Weird Wide Web.

Please consider donating a few bucks to the Hideout to help cover our hosting and operational fees with Ning (our parent site). Any amount is appreciated but we only ask for two or three bucks per member. Click here for the link!

And, of course, don't forget to visit as often as you can! Lots to read, see, and hear on the Hideout, including the main network forum (general discussions and shameless self-promotion), group forums for specific interests, videos, music uploaded by our 5,000+ members, photos, blog posts, event listings, chat room, and last but certainly not least, the amazing GaragePunk Podcast Network (the only one of its kind in the entire world!).

Thanks for your support, and Happy New Year!

Rock on,
kopper

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has donated so far and remind the rest of you reading this to please consider donating to the cause. I only plan on doing this twice a year, once in January and again in July. The goal for each drive is pretty low (just $300), which is why we only need literally a few bucks from people. So, for example, if we can get just 100 people to donate $3 each, then we've met our goal, but we're still a bit short of that now, so if you're on the fence, please consider tossing some money into the virtual hat to support the site and all it has to offer. Click here to donate! The donations received from this and the July fundraising drive will go towards our hosting bills with Ning and Dreamhost for 2011.

Thanks again!

Done!

Only $5 - not sure what that is in Scottish money! The podcasts alone are worth every penny! Now if only we could get the T shirts in the UK!

Done, you`re welcome Kopper.

all the best & have a Happy New Year!

You can't get the T-shirts in the UK? From the Spreadshirt store? Are you sure?

If that's true, that's definitely something that needs to be fixed. Please check again and let me know.

Thanks!

Done, it's cheap at half the price. Put your hand in your pockets and show a little love, you know it makes sense.
That does seem high. I always have a hard time figuring out postage costs when I want to ship something overseas. For example, when I go look on the USPS website, it tells me that a package (large envelope, basically) weighing 2 lbs. going to the UK costs $13.95 ($13.25 if paid online) for 6-10 business-day delivery, but when I click on the page for Great Britain and Northern Ireland and scroll down to where it has rates for "packages (small packets)," it says a 2-lb. package is $2.08. Maybe I'm misinterpreting all of this, I dunno.

Done! Happy to help keep the hideout active.  Anyone else done yet?  It is important or else we may only be reading about boy band reunions !!

I sent all the money I earned from selling my blood (minus bus fare).

Happy to contribute... between all the work Kopper puts in to keep this taco stand running, the amazing amount of great content available and the benefits of being able to stay connected to the worldwide garage community, I'd say that  a monetary donation is not too much to ask of people.

Remember folks... your donation is to pay the bills to keep the site up and functioning - it isn't for Kopper to spend on sunglasses and fake beard kits.
