Yo

I got the Vivian Girls record, is anyone else into it? Reminds of the Bangles but that would be a disservice to 'um. Great echo/reverb guitar, primal stomp drums and plodding bass lines. And they shriek like harpies. I'm looking forward to the next record.

k. :)

Hey, thanks for putting me on to them! Wondrously so, I was just thinking of them and here they are.

Atomic, man those Vivian Boys are the fun! They got like ten pluses with me doing "the witch" - it's a great video. Thanks for that!

Any band in which hair combing on stage is actively pursued, is A OK in my book
I love them, they only have one EP so far, you should track it down. I've filmed them quite a bit, I should post up some other videos some time.

Nao Nao (drums) is standing in as Atomic Suplexes Bass player this April when we play in Tokyo.
Hey, that was cool! I actually got to see The Vivian Boys - at Club Statto. One year before this vid was posted.
Don't know if this link will work, but I'll try anyhow.
October 6th 2006:
Video Unavailable. Boo.

STATTO is great, I love the atmosphere. Here is a short video of my band at STATTO last year.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u7MeFRUj6Yw&feature=channel_page
Not really a song though, just the end of the set.

Every time I have played at STATTO (or just been to see a band) almost everyone in the club goes to the izakaya by the station afterwards until 4am when the trains start running again.
I changed the video's privacy setting. Hopefully it will work now.
I do believe I've been to the post-club thingy too. Best sushi I've ever had.
Great video, I spy Theee Bat in the audience as well.
Yes, yes you do.
Same gig:
Gosh, haven't they been though a lot of drummers in such a short time. Not a very busy night down STATTO.
Don't have their record/CD but they did a killer show in Austin, TX, last year during the Chaos in Tejas Fest (at Red 7, May, 2008).
