Both great sounding organs...Continental is a classic...but the Yamaha Yc series are some underated garage jems. Yamaha's can still be had for next to nothing, so I'm a Yamaha man.
I'd buy the one that wasn't going to break my back when I carried it up a big flight of stairs
Super Continental!!!! 2 keyboards in one and weighs almost as much as i do....LOL...and it WILL break my back just moving it around then house!!

Neither. The Farfisa Mini Compact is my fave.We have 2 of them We also have a Gem, which is identical to a Vox Jaguar. (Gem is the Italian company that manufactured organ's for Vox) It's pretty cool, & looks awesome, but the Farfisa has the edge soundwise. Plus it's easier to haul & faster to set up.
Yeah, great sound! a friend of mine got a Farfisa Compact. That's the same played by Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs.

Well, since I own 3 Vox Continentals, I'm a little biased (haha). "Vox: It's What's Happening!"

A good old fashioned, intimate, punk rock house show: Deniz Tek (Radio Birdman) w/ Easy Action (John Brannon of Laughing Hyenas)

What are your favorite albums or songs by Deniz Tek (Radio Birdman) or John Brannon (Laughing Hyenas, Negative Approach, Easy Action)?Do you have any stories of memories of these bands? They have been around a while and are pretty well-respected in their circles.Last Tuesday night, I had the pleasure of seeing a couple Michigan rock stalwarts do a rare performance at a local underground punk venue called The 3rd Death Star in…See More
