As much as I love the Ramones and Radio Birdman, the artist I own the most records by, is Ty Segall.  His guitar shredding and the sound of his voice are awesome, and he's a great songwriter.  Plus, he's absurdly prolific and the quality just doesn't drop.  At this point, I own pretty much all of his solo stuff and side projects, save for one or two 7" singles.

What about you?  Maybe we can post photos of ourselves with our "most by this artist" records?

The artist with the most LPs in my stash is James Brown. Haven't counted in a long time, but it's probably creeping up on 30 by now.

Others with ten or more titles:
Kinks

Grass Roots

Bo Diddley

Sam The Sham

Paul Revere & the Raiders

Jerry Lee Lewis

Ventures

Johnny Cash

Temptations

Rolling Stones

Link Wray

Louis Prima

Syl Johnson

Wilson Pickett

 James , you forgot M & R Rush .  PSYYYYYYCH !!!!!!!

I've got about 30 James Brown records , too.   Is there such a thing as too much?

I've even got "The Original Disco Man". IT WAS CHEAP !!! I need help , Ladies and Gentlemens !

John, as far as Original Disco Man (which I don't own, BTW)...

It may have been CHEAP, but most importantly it was JAMES BROWN, so you get a pass! Ha!

*laugh* re Original Disco Man (oooh yeaaaah).

What is on the lp/tape/cd shelves here? Most by one group or artist? The Stones 'natch, esp. love Between the Buttons.

This would be followed by a nice pile of indie punk compilations that I can't seem to resist, Live at The Rat (RIP) being an all-time fave. :D

"Between The Buttons NEVER got it's just due. But , some people , myself included , rate it among their favorites. I have a shitload of Stones albums....My cut off point WAS "Some Girls" , until "A Bigger Bang" came out. Their first great album in nearly 30 years.

"Black and Blue" you need , if only for "Melody". The Stones only have about 2000 (man.) great tracks their "Fans " have never heard of....

:D -- on this we agree... "BtB" is soooo very fine. For those who don't possess a copy, here's the full tracklist:

1966 -- and they recorded "All Sold Out" :-; But really, that tracklist is so good.

Funny, the last Stones album I bought? "Some Girls". "Black and Blue"? not my fave, but it's in the collection. Bet it's the Billy Preston that gets you, right? M

Tom Waits, Nick Cave (inc bday party boys next door etc), the Fall

The Fall - Mark E. Smith is a genius

Billy Childish -  Gets to the primal urge of rock and roll

Jack White - The last true rock star.

Johnny Cash - The man could tell a story

wow!i had Rat as a drummer for a year -back in 2001,in London,UK...Maybe you'd dig two of my tunes on my playlist where he's beating the shit out of his set!Awesome collection, man!!!xxxx

The Damned followed by the Ramones. Mostly because they both have released so many damned (get it?) records and 7" sleeve variations etc etc that sucker a collector nerd like me to buy. No picture of me, but a set a photos I'd snapped for another forum. I have to give credit though to an old friend who sold me his entire Damned 7" collection back in the 80's. I knew it hurt him, but he knew it was going to a good home. That's where a good chunk of my Damned and Capt. Sensible singles came from.

DOORS DOORS DOORS....

Billy Childish or The Fall. only because ther's an endless suply ;)
