I was talking metaphorically, of course. I bet Jet Harris would be turning, so you can run the National Grid off him.

Hank Marvin's still alive . I never heard anything to the contrary.    I checked some Wikipedia pages  , and they all had him listed as still living , and 70 years of age (Further disspelling the idiot theory that you can be too old to rock.) . Jet Harris , The Shadows' original Bassist and solo artist in his own right , died recently , but , Hank and The Shadows are still doing sporadic reunion shows , with and without Cliff Richard.    I'm sure this video would put his off his food , though.....Jorgen Ingman , too , were he still living.

I bet Hank Marvin's spinning in his grave, as it is so excruciatingly bad. Ironically, the punks loved Apache because of its simplicity. Being a Shadows fan, I think this could be the worst version of Apache I've come across.

Jan Terri ..I had a true WTF moment!!! She's got it all! Fantastic!!....

Here's a totally crap video...a hideous version of Apache, with images that explain why punk happened. However as 7ts vids go, it really is nudging the cliche, its so bad its good...

......I get ya.  THIS MAY BE THE ONLY BAD VERSION OF "APACHE" I'VE HEARD......

Pretty pretty Bad, in my opinion

Ohhhhhh booooy!  Wow, I cannot even list all the ways this sux. At least they wore their coolest sweatpants when they were rockin' that empty sand bag warehouse. 3 guys playing and 3 douche-bags a-growlin', can't stop laughing, this is awesome.

Chaz

Mein Gott ! He brought the Berin Wall down . too , just ask him , as well as having a voice as smooth as silk and 3/4TH OF AN OCTAVE MORE THAT ROY ORBISON.
I'LL GIVE HIM CREDIT WHERE IT'S DUE , THE MAN CAN REALLY LAUGH AT HIMSELF. SEE JOHN WATERS' "DIRTY SHAME".

And here is a look into their "wisdom" = band interview!

I'd say the entire "Thriller' video ranks up there pretty high. I still like some of The Jackson 5's stuff. But , JACKSON WAS PUSHING 30 AND still SINGING LIKE A LITTLE GIRL. iT WAS CREEPY.

The whole album is one Vincent Price cameo short of sheer Pop hogwash.

OTHER VIDEOS , ESPECIALLY IN THE 80'S , WERE ONLY WORSE BECAUSE THEY COMBINED BAD MUSIC AND MUCH CHEAPER PRODUCTION TECHNIQUES. I know I'm supposed to be brimming with nostalgia for The 80's , and the worst music the decade excreted , but , the only thing MTV had going for it , then , was IRS's Cutting Edge (With Peter Zaremba) , Andy Warhol's 15 minutes , Closet Classics (Blue Cheer , Arthur Brown , Nazz , Tommy James , etc. , in rotation.), and the occasional great guests (Ramones , Cramps , Iggy, e.g.) on 120 Minutes.  I did think the host was Morrissey for years.

A good old fashioned, intimate, punk rock house show: Deniz Tek (Radio Birdman) w/ Easy Action (John Brannon of Laughing Hyenas)

What are your favorite albums or songs by Deniz Tek (Radio Birdman) or John Brannon (Laughing Hyenas, Negative Approach, Easy Action)?Do you have any stories of memories of these bands? They have been around a while and are pretty well-respected in their circles.Last Tuesday night, I had the pleasure of seeing a couple Michigan rock stalwarts do a rare performance at a local underground punk venue called The 3rd Death Star in…See More
