What song would you listen to when just waking up on Monday morning?

Sometimes it's a bit difficult to start a week.

This one quite good to begin a day.

....I don't usually listen to music in the morning , anymore , got out of the habit. When I was in High School , I had a little Radio Shack tape player , so I could play music while taking a shower , and not electrocute myself.....My favorite song to start the day was "Strange Boutique" by The Monochrome Set , which I had on a tape of DJ George Gimarc's show. I did'nt know who it was by , and the chorus is not in the title . It took 31 years for me to find a copy. It's still more "Garage" than much of what passes for Garage , today.

Afte rthat , pretty much anything by The RAMONES WOULD BE MY DAY STARTER.

Lust For Life and it is Monday morning here...

If it's raining - Rainy Monday by The Rifles

I often awaken singing this...

:)

-don

"Born to lose" - Johnny Thunders

this song is perfect for any morning.

Amoeba - adolescents
Full frontal assault

It's About Time - The Alarm Clocks!!!

This is the monday morning song.

I'm the same way, now.  Music in the morning just sounds painful.... for me anyway

A good old fashioned, intimate, punk rock house show: Deniz Tek (Radio Birdman) w/ Easy Action (John Brannon of Laughing Hyenas)

What are your favorite albums or songs by Deniz Tek (Radio Birdman) or John Brannon (Laughing Hyenas, Negative Approach, Easy Action)?Do you have any stories of memories of these bands? They have been around a while and are pretty well-respected in their circles.Last Tuesday night, I had the pleasure of seeing a couple Michigan rock stalwarts do a rare performance at a local underground punk venue called The 3rd Death Star in…See More
