I am always on the hunt for killer rock n' roll bands that I have yet to discover. Most weekends i search record bins or online for some tasty new or used vinyl to spin. So, what records are on heavy rotation on your sound system? Here are my top 3 records for this week.

Best Recent Records:
The Ladies (Riff Raff)- Takes u back to the dawn of the Dwarves. Awesome. Catch em at No
Way Fest 2 in Richmond Va June 22nd or at the Rock N Roll Overdose
in C-Ville VA on August 16th.

The Mymes "Myme Tyme" (Not So Quiet Records)- This record speaks wonders without really
saying a word...Myme Revolution @ myspace.com/themymes

The Vikings (Hit Me!)- Incredible 7" that is pretty hard to come by these days, but ya can catch
these tracks on the double Cd released last year. Steve Baise (Devil
Dogs, Pearl Swartz) and some of the boys from TurboNegro on this
outstanding record. Really worth the search.

Some of these are major and some minor but anyway here goes, Jay Reatards - Blood Visions, really loud but intentional, it gets addictive after three listens. The Raconteurs new one is a must on Vinyl, it's a modern classic. A couple of really great modern garage albums (For me) are the Gore Gore Girls Get The Gore The Paybacks - love not reason and most recently a new visit to something I lost many moons ago believe it or not KISS Love Gun on vinyl, That's one of my all time favs! I love the Ace leads on that record, Love Gun was the first song I learned to play on guitar, Ha! Here's a Mash Up of Earl Clifton and The Pin-Ups 2005 Debut (side A)
