The GaragePunk Hideout

GaragePunk.com's Social Network

I am always on the hunt for killer rock n' roll bands that I have yet to discover. Most weekends i search record bins or online for some tasty new or used vinyl to spin. So, what records are on heavy rotation on your sound system? Here are my top 3 records for this week.

1) The Points/ Maaster Gaiden split 7" (Big Action Records)

2) The King Khan and BBQ Show "Teabag Party 7" (Crypt)
3) Carbonas/ DieRotzz split 7"(Die Slaughterhaus Records)

here's some heavy rotation:

chico magnetic band- s/t
blue cheer/hard psyche from france

flower travellin' band- all their shit
another blue cheer/hard pscyhe but from japan.

the deep/freak scene/rusty evans etc
great proto-psychedelia, more dylan than beatles...he's now touring as a johnny cash impersonator, sad.

los vidrios quebrados, los macs, speakers, los gatos salvajes...all great latin american garage and psyche.

not rock but...

numero's eccentric soul comps are fuckin' phenomenal...the twinight records one is a masterpiece.

I can't get involved in this as I haven't bought a new bands record since The Mystreated!
However the last three tunes bought (or latest) to hit my decks:
Sugaree 66 - Rusty York
Wailin'/ Shangheid - The Wailers
Nina Kocka Nina - The Dinks
However you realy want a great band get hold of The Masonics or The Branded

Right now I am loving Gogol Bordello's "Gypsy Punks Underdog World Strike". I can't seem to listen to anything else.
