He y'all, in case you didn't know Kopper went in to go under-the-knife this morning for a torn something-or-other in his knee. I don't remember how he injured it (heck, at our old age it could have been from steppin' offa curb!), but none-the-less let's all hope for a right quick healing session!

Hope yer back to Cork-ballin' soon, Kopp!

I think Kopper was initially injured in a slam dance session in the 80's. True story! I hope they got ya on some potent meds buddy!

Knee be damned! Sure didn't slow him down much at the Gories/Oblivians show haha. Certainly had some discomfort afterwards though.

Thanks guys! It was a torn meniscus in my left knee that I got from simply squatting down a couple of months ago (I checked on Wikipedia and that's actually a pretty common way of tearing that ligament). Ryan's right, though; I originally hurt the knee at a Die Kreuzen show in '85. Yeah, Saturday night the knee felt pretty good, but the day after I paid for it. Anyway, surgery is now behind me... from what I can tell it went pretty well. I was out like a light for almost three solid hours. So now I'm making my way around on crutches but I should be back on the corkball field within a couple of weeks, I think. Going to the doc tomorrow, so I'll see what he says. Thanks again for the well wishes!
