You can't have good rock'n'roll without an ice cold frosty far away.

So tell me fellow garagepunkers, whats your favourite local beer. Don't tell me Asahi unless you live in Tokyo, Steinlager is out unless you are a two headed Kiwi sheep shagger and all you Italians get to keep your Peroni's.

To get the ball rolling, my two favourite Aussie brews are both from the state of Tasmania and are from the Boag's brewery - Boag's Strong Arm, once made at a lovely 5.7% alcohol, now just a mild 5%, but still a tasty, malty king of a beer.
If I'm feeling a tad more classy a Casacade Premium lager will wet the old laughing gear. A crisp, dry honeyish drop that Mrs Yates and I will happily drink until the fridge is empty.

I'd go for a pint of Tribute every time...! But I got some of that Punk IPA on chill right now... see this:

Punk IPA from BrewDog on Vimeo.

efes pilsen*all time classic!
Nottingham? would have to be Castle Rock Harvest Pale..
My favorites are all over the spectrum I like Spatten, Peroni, Kwok, Duvel, Hefeweizen, etc, but I also like Tecate, Rolling Rock, & Shiner.

I'm trying to cut down calories and lose some weight, so I've been drinking light beer lately. Most light beer is utter crap. However, the new Bud Light Wheat beer has some flavor. If you have to drink light beer, it's your best choice.
If someone else is buying, then a New Glarus of some sort or maybe a Skullsplitter or one of those strong Viking-themed beers (can't think of the brewery). If it's payday, then probably a Riverwest Stein from Lakefront. Normally, however, it's PBR and Hamm's. When I'm back in western New York, it's Labatt's and Molson for days. (As for WNY's choice skunky brewery, Genny, ... its varieties have been long-since abandoned by me after numerous resulting bad headaches and churned guts)
Ha Ha, what against Peroni? It's good for eating pizza!
Anyway,Moretti is not the best but is a good one and cheap.

Stone! If I was up north I'd say PBR, in England Newie, or Colorado Flying Dog. Reaper Ale is local, got some good stuff.
It's called beer by the trade But the 16% I like gets run through my 2"column Vapor Management Still, The only real beer connection is the beer keg I use for the still pot. Anyone have a dinged up copper Tympani cheap, my next neat on the cheap
La Goudale - french middle age recipe ! 8°

Do you know beer and "Picon" ? Picon is a orange and Gentiane flavoured alcohol you mix with beer ! ask for it , if you come to France or Belgium ! We can also buy bottle of "Picon biere"... that's what i'm goona drink in 1 hour !

Santé !
i think SCHLITZ is yummy!
I dig brown ales, so pretty much any descent brown ale is ok with me. I am not an IPAs fan at all.
I like Old Chub & Yazoo ESB. If I can't get anything "good" I take a Newcastle, Labatt Blue, or (call me generic) PBR.
Having been on antibiotics for the last few days ANY beer would do for me right now...

"Boy , if this had been available for (Ugh) viewing and (UGH!!!) listening in the 40's , The Axis powers would have imploded much faster , and The Allies would have won WWII without dropping the H- Bomb.   "
