Favourite chord?

A first position E chord. Nothing is bigger and bolder, but a G would be second.

I'll have to agree with E too. Or even A or B. EAB, what other chords do you need?

EAB, for reals...I've been getting off on F now too. Probably the most phantom of the bunch-when I'm trying to figure out a song and I'm stuck it's usually an F.

I love a low D chord, and the open E chord.  There are few things better than banging away at an open E at high volume.

That's really funny about the F. Over the past couple weeks I was  learning a bunch of songs on bass for a band I'm jamming with with this Friday night, and every time I missed a change, and went back and listened, and tried a bunch of notes, it was always an F!!! Go figure.

It's F for "Fuck me, there it is!"

 

E with a little blue note inside it makes me all-get-out. Like high E 3rd fret.

E minor really says a lot to me. Its dark and brooding yet has a lil optimism just underneath if you add you pinky.

E is probably the king but I always thought F# was a really cool chord and I love the sound of G7 in the right situations.

For me it's G, because you need only one to two fingers to play it, and can do stuff with the rest of your hand.

Like flip off the bass player...!  I LOVE the 2 finger G, Doc.  It rings out real nice!
