Shinei Companion, if you can find one, or a clone. Ultimate velcro buzz fuzz!!!

Ashbass Fuzzbrite, good stuff there. I've got one and i won't go back.

You could always build one:

Pedal kits

I've owned a bunch of 'classic' fuzz pedals over the last months, searching for 'the' fuzz sound. As usual it depends also on the guitar, the PUs and the amp how it will sound but of course there are tendencies. I sold all pedals again but my Smitty Fuzztone, a Maestro FZ-1S clone. I'd look into  Maestro or  MK2 Tonebender clones if I was you.
i got a way huge swollen pickle and it is pretty good :) but 200 bones

Coloursound Tonebender is my fave. They are hard to find though, and quite expensive. That is what we used in The Fuzztones.

those sound quite good
any one know what the fuzz 1313 mockingbird lane used (the late 8os garage band not the house) also the rest of the guitar set up much apreciated

I'm owner of an Ashbass Fuzzbrite (for more than four years) and I'm absolutely happy and love its sound. I didn't try any other than a Big Muff with my gear, though.

The customer support sucked at its time, when it came it didn't work and I had to fix it. It was a welding (and it meant 30 € extra). They never answered.

Mosrite Fuzzrite vs Ashbass Fuzzbrite on Youtube (lots of tests there)

PD: BTW, not really a musician, just a chord bad player but a fan.
