Do you bother counting them, or is that a waste with us rock and rollers?  You do it the old fashioned way, or do you let a robot count for you?  Have you found it to be worth the effort?

WASTE !

I hate robots, machines, djs with laptops...

I'm an old fashioned guy. I love vinyls (especially 7"), don't bother counting anything, not even the empty glasses on my side, and like it warm, real and live. In one word : HUMAN !

I don't think you need to count BPMs to keep it wild'n'kickin' ! And I believe that's the only thing Rock'n'Roll DJs need to be ! WILD'N'KICKIN' !!!

YOU TAKE THE "P" OUT OF BPMs , YOU'VE GOT "BMs" and "P"...THAT'S ABOUT RIGHT....ROCK 'N' ROLL IS'NT ABOUT THOSE ARTIFICAL "BEATS", ALMOST NEVER CREATED BY A DRUMMER . WE SHOULD'NT PATTERN OURSELVES AFTER "DANCE" DJs, I KNOW THEY GET RESPECT (WORSHIP!) AND MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF DOUGH , BUT THEY'RE STILL A DIME A DOZEN , WHEN THE R'N'R DJ HAS TO BUST HIS OR HER ASS TO GENERATE ANY INTEREST.  EACH TO HIS OWN , BUT WHY CAN'T PEOPLE DANCE TO ROCK 'N' ROLL? IT HAS A BEAT , THE REAL BEAT.....AT LEAST , WE'RE WILLING TO MAKE MISTAKES , AND , AS I SAY , MANY OF THEM ARE SOMEONE ELSE'S FAULT , AND WE TAKE THE FALL.....

ok i work with serato but play on vinyl i dont bother the bpm i play wath i like and wath the people  want to hear. we are not house dj but we play the bether side of music and i enjoy it.
