I am going to Berlin as well. Is this discussion still up-to-date? Any further suggestions?

You can´t go wrong with Bassy-Club and White Trash, are the best places.
otherwise check this:
http://www.roadrunners-paradise.de/en/en-index.php
(have occasionally things going on - i haven´t been there recently but i guess is still ok)
Unfortunately this pub just closed: http://www.soulcat-berlin.de/SOULCAT/LINE_UP.html
but they could be opening somewhere else next (?).
A landmark in Berlin: http://www.wildatheartberlin.de/
you could visit this bar too: http://mammutbar.blogspot.it/
if i recall other places i´ll add.
Have fun in Berlin!

Any tips about cool record shops in Berlin?

Or good concerts ca the next week and a half?

As BlueBullet said:

The best location (for NOT electronic music) are already listed.

For the big concerts (all mix-up here) check:

I´m afraid that for the period you mention doesn´t looks like is gonna be much,
The Jon Spencer Blues explosion next sunday, the Raveonettes 12th dec...

Here a list of record store (sorry, in german but you can have a look)
http://kupillas.wordpress.com/2010/08/19/wo-man-in-berlin-noch-plat...

I like Piatto Forte or Vopo Records but i buy really seldom records.
Better go around the Bergmannstr. You´ll find: Holy´s Hit Records (teeny-weeny but really good!),  The Record Store, Space Hall and a couple more.

Check also the record sellers at flea markets like MauerPark on Sunday. The "Flohmärkte" are listed in there too.

Tanks for the links! I guess I understand just enough German that the list of shops makes sense.

I have heard good things of 8mm bar. Anton Newcombe hangs out there..

A couple more in which are doing pretty good stuff recently:

I
haven´t been here yet and i guess they have seldom something good going on BUT the location sounds really cool for a visit! http://knochenbox-knochenbox.blogspot.it/

Reviews of The Seeds' ''Future"?

Due to a recent 'cash flow problem,' I can't afford Big Beat's release of "Future" by The Seeds. I have the first two in the series and have posted reviews around the web. But I have seen nothing on the new release of the expanded third Seeds album. I'm dying here, folks.Could someone please review or point me to a review of "Future?" Thanks!See More
