Looking for a place to play? Mini theatre 'De Melkbus' in Dordrecht, Holland

my husband and I just opened our mini theater 'de melkbus'.

I'll put it in dutch as well as english ;D

WE ZIJN BEGONNEN met het boeken van evenementen volgens ons "Melkbus-principe"!! We gaan heel veel leuke "huiskamer"-concertjes met te gekke bands, groot en klein, bekend en onbekend!

Dit is ons Melkbus-principe:

Wij openen ons mini-theater voor exclusieve optredens door bands voor maximaal 50 genodigde muziekliefhebbers/fans zonder kaartverkoop, maar op basis van een vrijwillige bijdrage voor de band in de “melkbus” (en ja! Hij staat er echt!!). Daarnaast bieden we de band een volledige audio en/of video registratie van het optreden aan. Wij regelen de bar, licht en geluid en eventueel een back line. Natuurlijk mag er band merch verkocht worden en de leden van de band mogen, als ze dat leuk vinden, in onze blokhut overnachten!

we started booking events acording to our milkcan principle:

we're going to organise loads of 'livingroomconcerts' with great bands, big or small, know and unknown

this is our melkbus principle:

We open our mini theatre for exclusive gigs by bands, for max 50 guests/ music lovers/ fans without selling tickets but based on a voluntary contribution for the band in the milkcan. next to the money that goes into the can, we offer audio/video registration of the gig.

we take care of the bar, light, sounds, and backline if needed.

ofcourse the is the opertunity to sell merch, and if you like, we have a guesthouse for sleepovers

thanks for your interest! Plmb is a bit to rough for our theater at the moment (once we get better know around the area this might chance though), no whiskey for Callahan would fit better I think. Do you have plans to come to holland?

Hi here's Gé from french band ASHTONES..I'm looking for a gig on December 07 for mates: LOUD SQUIRT (from Groningen) & NAZI DOGS (from Aachen): they have to play in Lille on December 08 and I try to add them a gig on friday 07..both bands live quite at same distance from Dordrecht..Thank you for taking care.
