I'm going to the StLouis Blueberry Hill show.
I really wish I could've gone to that. How was it?

I'm pissed...I missed half the show and only saw about 30 min or so of Man or Astro-man? For anyone that saw them, what kind of guitar was the female guitar player playing?

Kopper - Lots of fun.  They played all the old hits, referenced the '93 Ciceros show, lights, lasers, videos, theramin, Tesla coil, jumping around.  Sound was really good, too.  Well attended.  My drummer Tim and Steve went, too.  I saw Ryan, Doc, Ashley, and some of the Honkeys.

SH - If you mean the thing that looked like a candy apple red with glitter inverted Flying V, I don't know what brand of guitar that was but I've seen one before.  Pretty cool.

Yeah, that's the guitar! I have kind of a shitty picture of it I got with a phone if anyone wants to see it. It looked pretty rad, but I couldn't see what make/model it was.
All The Gibson versions I've seen have been "blonde" but this one was all sparklie like a 1970's carnival ride!  I don't know if it was from Gibson's Custom Shop or a knock-off but it sure did look cool.

I asked a guy who knows her.  Here's the link he sent.  It's not an Inverted Flying V at all (too many PBR tallboys!)

Oh cool! Thanks for the link!! Its a pretty gnarly looking guitar. Got a link to $900??

Hands down, the best set I have seen in a long time.  Like Dave mentioned below, it was so nice to run into a bunch of STL'ers I had not talked to in a long time: Dave, his brother Steve, Travis B. from Hartford Coffee, Dancing JJ... It was a really fun night.

Matt from the Blind Eyes pointed out something after the show that I hadn't noticed.  MOAM totally dropped character. They were talking about how they were from Alabama, etc.  I hadn't seen them since '96-'97, so I don't know if dropping the whole "we're from outer space" schtick is a recent thing, or what.  Not that it mattered any, because they just flat out fucking ROCKED.
