For Sale: matched set of brand new high quality humbucker pickups - $40

I bought a matched set of high output and crunchy (but not the super overdriven ones) classic PAF-style humbuckers for a project I had planned, but I cancelled the idea (long story) and am now selling off the parts I started collecting.

My loss is your gain, because I am now selling these brand new matched set for a steal. These are great pickups and I paid $60 for them (plus shipping). I am selling them together for $40 (only $20 each, and you don't have to pay shipping). obo

These are pretty deluxe pickups for this kind of coin. Bridge pickups is a whopping 14K, Neck 10K. FOUR WIRE for coil tapping- and we've tried it- you CAN use Seymour Duncan wiring codes on these!

They come with all necessary accessories: mounting rings, screws, and any other installation parts. This is a great way to liven up a guitar by upgrading from the stock pick ups.

The photo isn't that great (so I posted the stock photo), but the mounting rings are black and the coils are zebra (white and black, but the white is kind of more of a cream color).

From pole to pole (low E to high E pole) it measures a solid 2".

Here is the product description:

DC resistance is 14K, and these just SCREAM. Unlike so many "super distortion" pickups these are very well potted, using real paraffin wax and vacuum impregnating the wax into the coils. I've stood in front of my raging Soldano SLO 100 and the pickups didn't squeal. Nice.

As a four conductor pickup it's easy enough to run them as single coils or humbuckers- in fact- just add a 500K audio taper DPDT push-pull pot to your order so you can wire it up for coil-tapping.

These are high quality, wax potted pickups. They're a great way to add some serious punch and tone to a cheapo guitar, and great if you're building a dream project. These are classic PAF style pickups.
