Curious to see if anyone has these early Greenhornes albums on vinyl: Dual Mono and Self-titled efforts. I figure it's worth a shot to post and see. I'll buy or trade. Thanks, Jason

I have 'em but they're in another state than the one I live in.  Where are you?  I'm guessing you would have a great chance of finding them at the next WFMU record fair in NYC

Theresa.... Sadly, I'm nowhere near NYC. Actually, I'm in Cincinnati, Ohio. (home of the Greenhornes). I've been listening to them since 2001 or so, but back then I generally bought only CDs. My turntable / records were in storage back then so I didn't buy on vinyl (didn't have the space in my then small apartment). We've got several great record stores in town (Shake It Records and Everybody's Records) but I've talked to the owners and they NEVER see the Greenhornes stuff used. Where are you at? What state are the records in? Thanks.

Jason, I'm in Nashville, TN and all my albums are in Southern California... I see Patrick and Jack all the time here!

Theresa, Nashville is quite the town. I have a few friends and family living down there and  whenever I visit I'm sure to take a side trip to Phono-Lux to load up on records. (Grimey's just didn't have the vinyl selection last time I was there). Sorry to hear that your collection is in Cali -- you must miss them. I know I was itching to hear mine for years, but I took solace in the fact they were in storage nearby. Tell Patrick and Lil Jack they need to use the clout of Third Man Records to get that early Greenhornes stuff re-pressed. I'm sure Jack White could make it happen. And of course, let me know if you ever want to part with Dual Mono or the Self-Titled LP.

Well if anyone has more than one copy, then i'll buy what Jason doesn't!!!

I'm actually a friend of Jason and we have both been looking for the early Greenhornes vinyl. We love the band and despite being from their hometown, we can't find it for sale anywhere besides Ebay. Its great stuff so i don't blame people for holding on to it. If only i had gotten into vinyl sooner.....
