By now you may/or may not have noticed, cared/or not cared that the Rock'n'Roll Suicide podcast has been on hiatus for a while now. For what it is worth, we've been knocking out this Rock And Roll Dance Party radio program for a few years now (since '94). After three hours a week blasting out tunes on the FM dial, the podcast just seemed like a knockoff of what we we're already doing. So, the Rock'n'Roll Suicide podcast falls by the wayside but, we're still spinning records and kicking ass.
In this thread we'll post our playlists and probably a link or something to be able to give the show a listen.
We're broadcasting on WUSB 90.1FM out of Stony Brook, New York or streaming at http://wusb.fm Tuesday 9pm - midnight if you'd care to check it out in real time.
and now, on with the show...

Rock'n'Roll Suicide has always been one of my favorite podcasts around.
And I'm always trying to listen to Rock'n'Roll Party whenever I can but it would be so much more convenient if you could find a way (and the time of course) to podcast this... We, little dedicated listeners all over the world, could then listen to your superkickass show wherever we want via our little cheap mp3s players ! Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease...
thanks. for now the link would be http://rockandrollradio.org/audio/yyyy/yymmdd.mp3
I think we will be going to mediafire link in the not too distant future.

Permalink Reply by Boaby Digital on September 28, 2012 at 2:16pm As much as I enjoy the Dance Party, it can be difficult to keep up to date with a 3 hour show what with all the other podcasts and cd's etc to get through. I think one of the things I loved about RnR Suicide was it's length, much more digestable as an hour.
May I suggest a RnR Suicide show, say, once every six months? Kind of a best of the Dance Party type deal? Wishful thinking I know, but either way keep doing what you're doing Fink, your dedication and hard work to bring us so many hot rockin' sounds is much appreciated.
your request may be answered sooner than we think. stay tuned.
