Hideout Advertising

BANNER ADS ON THE HIDEOUT! The GaragePunk Hideout is not free for me to maintain. The cost is not astronomical, but, by the same token, I really need to sell a few banner ads to cover my expenses and to keep it going indefinitely into the future. But this site is suddenly now getting a LOT of traffic, and the placement of these ads is superb for bringing attention to your band/label/store or project. And they're cheap! There are two different ads that you can purchase to advertise your band, label, show, store, service, whatever. The first is a smaller "Budget Ad" that ONLY appears in the left sidebar on the Main page of the Hideout (it won't be viewable on ANY other pages, in other words). That one is only $20/month and will get a very limited number of views. The other "Premium Ad" appears in the sidebar on the right and is not only physically larger in size, but will also get displayed on every page of the network. It's $50/month. Those are actually very good deals, especially for the size of the ads and the exposure they'll get (and will continue to get as more people join the network). SIZES 1. Animated GIFs or flash ads are OK. I can host them locally or link to them off-site, whatever is easiest for you. After you process your payment, contact me about getting your ad set up. Thanks! GOOGLE ADWORDS: Another option is to advertise here using Google Adwords. In order to do that, you will need to sign up through Google and make sure that you use keywords that will find this site, such as "garage", "punk", "garagepunk", "hideout", etc. The more keywords that are appropriate for this site, the better chance your ad will appear here.

UPDATE: As of October 2009, these ads (both sizes!) now also appear in the sidebar on the main podcast blog at GaragePunk.com, so your ad will get even MORE exposure than before! Also, all money raised by the sale of ads on this website will be donated—100%—to research into finding a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD).
