Louisville, KY debut LP on Homestead, 1992? One critic said if Roky Erikson fronted a cowpunk band, this is what it would sound like. The whole album is killer, and their name comes from Bo Diddley + Zydeco

Comment by dave on November 30, 2012 at 12:10pm D'oh! Not a good sign for Bodeco! Nonetheless, I get a kick out of this lp (they did a 2nd platter, but a diff. look, which I never heard). Roky Erikson fronts Cowpunk band! ("Cowpunk" always sounded like a lame-ass label to me, no matter who was in a given band, like a Dil and Escovedo in Rank and File. But this release is great, and I love Tex Edwards 'Pardon me, I've got someone to kill")
