Born in 1951, yeah, it's a long time ago. Went to school, to university. Have been in the same job for almost 25 years (seems very boring, only it isn't), but have always worked part time to be able to travel a lot, work as a volunteer, listen to good music, and not get stressed.
Favorite Music/Influences (list some bands, musicians, genres, etc.):
Everything that has guitars in it and is fast, like 50s Rock & Roll, 60s Beat, 70s till now Punk. Some of my favourite bands are or were the Beatles (yes, I know), the Undertones, Stiff Little Fingers, NoXF, Punkreas and Gleichaufschwankung.
Favorite Movies:
Hairspray (the original 1988 version). And as you don't ask, my favourite tv series of all time is Fawlty Towers with John Cleese.

Hi, Andre. Welcome to the Hideout. First off, please read the Network Guidelines page for a few simple rules to follow. Then, to help you find your way around and get started, I recommend taking a few minutes to read this introductory guide. It should do a good job in giving you a better idea of what all is available to you here. Hopefully you'll like what you find and keep coming back for more, because that's what it's all about. Cheers!

John Battles replied to Mr Yates's discussion Ten Songs I Hate.
