AKA "Rockin' Bob" (with hardcore band WSY), as "Slack" (with porn rock band "The REEM") and recently as "Bob Noxious" (with "Snake Alley")
Retired rocker coming off a 2 year hiatus from podcasting "Snake Alley" on the garagepunk network. Unique reviews of "B to Z" grade movies found in the public domain punctuated by the absolute best music in the world. The namesake of the podcast comes from my grade school years. It was a weeded over unpaved alley in South St. Louis we used as a shortcut to school or to the abandoned graveyard we used to "play" in, Old St. Marcus. Thank you for asking.
Dick-shakin' rock'n'roll like the Rolling Stones, Chuck Berry, The Cramps, MC5, The Stooges, Alice Cooper, New York Dolls, Thin Lizzy, The Guess Who, Boss Martians, Ded Bugs, The Trip Daddys, Knuckel Drager, The Dirtbombs, The Sonics, Cream, Jimi Hendrix, The Who, Buck Owens, Hasil Adkins, Louis Jordan, Louis Armstrong, Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters, Bo Diddley, The Mothers of Invention, The Fugs, The Minutemen, The Misfits, Black Flag, Circle Jerks, The Standells, Rockpile, The Ramones, The Screamin' Mee-Mees, The Cripplers, Bob Dylan, Jethro Tull, Black Sabbath, Emerson Lake & Palmer, King Crimson, Glen Campbell, Three Dog Night, Sly and the Family Stone, Jerry Reed, Dean Martin, Spike Jones, Soundtracks, '60s garage, surf, blues, '70s punk, '80s hardcore, metal, and trashy rock'n'roll of all eras.
Favorite Movies:
Low-budget "Z" grade psychotronic flicks of all genres... cult, horror, sci-fi, juvenile delinquent, beach/surf/hot rod, crime, film noir, exploitation, rock'n'roll, B-movies, independent films, etc. I don't mind some big money movies from the '70s and early '80s, well... Blazing Saddles, Caddyshack, Slapshot, Cheech & Chong, The Dirty Dozen, Dirty Harry, Spinal Tap, etc.
Favorite GaragePunk.com Podcast(s):
Savage Kick, Flying Saucer Rock and Roll, Get Drunk and Play Records, One Cup of Coffee and a Pack of Cigarettes and of course, the sporadic and short lived Snake Alley.
