We'll even though we did not place 1, 2 or 3 we certainly tore the roof of the Orpheum Theater. Having a band like ours make it to the final 10 is an accomplishment in itself. 2500 seats filled to the rafters did not know what hit them when The Aces hit the stage.
The IBC was a great experience - we competed against 100 bands from across the globe. Making it to the finals and being one of ten best blues bands from across the world was HUGE.
A few nights prior, Derek and Sky were asked by Red to perform that night at the legendary Reds Lounge in Clarksdale MS.
Aces also congratulate all of the winners at the IBC and especially the final three winners. The IBC is a very well run event with lots of support.
Additionally we like to put out a HUGE thanks to the Sacramento Blues Society who came 21 stong to support us!
