Curious to hear what some other people might suggest to be the best garage or punk bands of recent times? Mostly I stay listening to older bands but it's good to know about the current ones to keep…Continue

The other upcoming show is Strange Attractor (Sudbury garage trash noise), Teenanger (Toronto punk/garage) at Call The Office on Frid Mar 2th...sat night is Eddie Spaghetti from The Supersuckers which is probably a rough and tumble country show. That David Allan Coe LP was probably the findof the show...thanx for showing me that one!!!

Have a beer and see you sometime soon!

(Al Bundy voice:) Duke , Duke , Duke . Duke of Earl , Duke , Duke....         The Harrmony Guitar....It sounds bad , but , I'm not sure I know which one you mean. What does the picture look like ? Did you mean the Kingston ?  I'VE SEEN gENE cHANDLER a couple of times "Walk thru my DUKEDOM" - ha ha ....OH , WAIT ! You mean that one piece of shit guitar !!!! Actually , it sounds kind of cool , but , it's pretty messed up , I would'nt trust it on a gig. I got it for a $25 at a Garage Sale.....It's too old and decrepit to bother paying to have it rehabbed. I should take it out , sometime soon, tho'. The same people had a hilarious looking white Harmony bass. John.

Oh thank you very much, man! I'm very glad to know you appreciate my stuff. Thanx for your support. At the moment I'm recording the new album, which is going to be a little bit cleaner (but not too much, of course).
How about your past holidays? Did you have fun?
Wish you a rockin' 2011... Cheers!

Hi man! Actually "Hate us..." is a completely different album. It's one of the two best live albums from Crime, the other one being "Cadillac Faggot". Both of them sound really bad and raw, and I love them! You should check them out. I also checked out their reunion album, lately ("Exalted Masters"), but it's not a good record at all, IMHO. No Frankie, no fun! Have a nice holiday, dude!

Hey there, nice to "meet" you, too, man. It's great to know you dig Rave Up's stuff. I have been in contact with their boss (who was also the singer of one of the best Italian punk rock bands ever, Transex), years ago, and he's the coolest guy in the Italian underground punk scene. Rave Up should be a lesson for so many labels out there.

You have a real good taste in music, my friend... Have you been listening to my stuff? My debut album is for free download on my netlabel Kill Mommy Records, but you can get it also on my profile... I really hope you'll appreciate it!

Have a lo-fi rockin' week, dude!

Best wishes..

Tropic of Cancer/Delta of Venus

I believe I am posting way too much but without all the fistfights and kids jumping out of (1st floor)  windows because of summer break I am a bit bored. Anyway, there was a Henry Miller discussion in this group recently and while watching After Hours for research purposes last night Tropic of Cancer by Henry Miller came up. I took that to be a bit of a sign. The most impressive thing about Henry Miller was his ability to riff on any given subject for five minutes or five hours at a time.…See More
