Cheers for that! My mate's already talked to Paul at Adelphi about it and he's got slots free and the price is more than reasonable. I'm trying to sway him into putting the night on later on to give me some time to build my record collection as it's a bit little at the minute.

I wonder if you could help us out, actually. A mate of mine is dead set on getting a sixties night going in Hull. Not strictly garage or strictly rare records, he recognises that he'll have to throw in some of the well-known stuff if he wants to bring in heads. I suppose the question is, where would he even start? Also, would you ever consider DJing at something like that?

Hey Duncan!

My mate's just informed me there's gonna be some sort of 2005 throwback gig next year with a bunch of old Hull bands; Dirty Dreamers, Johnsons, Turismo and the like. Have you heard owt about it? It'd be great to see 59 Violets again, I don't think I've actually seen you live except at Humber Fest (what a day and what a lineup).

Oh, I just looked at my Sesh message from this week and saw that you lot played. That's a massive shame, I'd have loved to have come down for it; very rarely get to Sesh nowadays. My mate's band are playing there next week, sort of heavy blues-rock outfit inspired by Brian Jonestown Massacre and others in that vein.
I plan on checking them out. I saw that they played Primitive Fest in Rotterdam last year and had my heart set on going this year because a ferry would be dirt cheap... then I found out 2010 was the last one. I've got Galileo 7 plugging themselves all over my Facebook but I've still not gotten around to checking them out either.

Hiya.
I don't get to as many local gigs any more. I first saw you lot at Humberfest when I was about fifteen, but most of the local bands of "my time" have sort of disappeared (Dirty Dreamers, Turismo, Landaus, etc.) so I only really go out to see GST Cardinals nowadays.
I reckon I'd love it, I'm a big Prisoners fan but I've not listened to much of Graham Day's other stuff.
