- Éric Bourguignon est né. Il écoute des films depuis 1977. Il écrit des textes depuis 1991. Il fait du cinéma indépendant depuis 1999. Il écrit, produit, réalise et monte ses propres courts-métrages. Il est aussi capable de tenir une caméra vidéo, prendre des photos, faire de la figuration, construire des décors et jouer la comédie. Que ses films soient expérimentaux, surréalistes, d’action ou comiques, il essaie toujours de les rendre les plus personnel possible. Au mois d’août 2006, il a co-fondé le projet Sortie de Secours, qui consistait en des événements de projection visant à promouvoir le cinéma indépendant. Plus récemment, il a fondé Les productions du cri de la Licorne pour supporter ses propres productions. Il est aussi, dans ses temps libres, éducateur en service de garde scolaire (depuis 1997) et a oeuvré dans le milieu de l’aide aux personnes déficientes intellectuelle et souffrant de maladie mentale ( de 1992 à 1997) pour divers organismes communautaires de la Montérégie. Il est aussi un fier papa et un mari dévoué. Il adore écrire des biographies à la troisième personne pour parler de lui-même.
