Keepa Rockin' Rod! Stick the best bits and pieces together, then demo them up and see what sounds good. Some stuff may work and some stuff may not. I have so many scraps of songs on bits of paper lying around. Some are gems and some are shit. I do...

Cowboys and Double-neck Danelectros

So I'm standing in a waiting room and I see the Beverly Hillbillies playing on a tv across the room. The grandpa is doing an Elvis dance in a gold cowboy suit with a double-neck Danelectro guitar.. Of course I was thinking that it would be great stuff for a cut-up clip video or something. Then later tonight, while looking at a band on myspace, I see this from the Monochrome Set page:

I guess we can't create groups anymore?

I was going to make one for Guitar Tabs and Lyrics. I thought that might be interesting. Guess not. Oh, well. This is garage rock, who needs lyrics or tabs.

My good sir

I'm not a specialist of Christian rock but I do like The Pilgrims from UK very much, and a great comp named "God in the garage". The sole 1970 New Dawn magnificent LP can be considered Christian rock too I guess. Ed Nadorozny did two garage punk forums on the subject. James aka the Plague was supposed to send them to me but I guess he forgot.

And Alabama is a great state too. We made two shows on it. 3 hours full of rock'n'roll, segregation and corn liquor.

Yeaaaahhhhh
