"Life After Doomsday" by Clayton. I was wrong about the date. It was published in 1980 but falls back on a lot of Civil Defense knowledge from the '60s. It's has a '60s read to it, if that makes sense. It was the best of that genre that I've ever re…

Profile Information

Where do you live?
New Orleans/St Louis
Relationship Status:
Married
About Me:
Guitar player for Exene Cervenka and the Original Sinners and the Geargrinders. Drummer of the Honkeys, and the Vickroids. I live a life that's working for me. I'm a full time player and want more. I'm an underused big beat drummer. If you have great songs, I am big drums.
Favorite Music:
instrumentals, pipe organ fantasy, early psychobilly, scary psychedelic, well written punk. My favorite bands are those that I find intimidating or flat out scary, either personally or musicly ie the cramps, the crucifucks, alice donut, butthole surfers, exene, dexter romweber, JD Pinkus, jeff hess. Anyone whom I find great unease to stand in front of when they hit the stage. Danger and lack or pretension turn me on.

H.G. Wells shorts, Man Ray, any well done avant/psychedelic. Cabinet of Dr Caligari (original), the Corpse Grinders, Redneck Zombies, 3d movies, Cannibal the Musical

way back in 1966 "96 Tears" was played to death on WMEX in Boston. It was ingrained on my 10-year-old brain. In high school in the early to mid 70s, I got made fun of by the teen cognosenti because the music I dug "wasn't complicated enough" I was v…
