"I don't recall exactly what record it was but it was Kopper's radio show in St. Louis that got me hooked on Garage Punk. Thanks Kopper! I used to catch the second hour of the show every week."

Welcome to the Hideout, John! That's cool that you remember my old radio show. I did a podcast here as well for a while (not lately, though) called Savage Kick. You can listen to it on my page. But if you dug the Wayback Machine, you should like it, too. Anyway, now that you're here, be sure to personalize your page a bit, check your pending friend requests, listen to some of our excellent Podcasts, participate in the discussions going on in the Forum, join some Groups, and feel free to add some videos and music (you'll find a music player built right in to your page here that can accept as many as 100 MP3s)! And don't forget to invite some friends. Cheers!

Tropic of Cancer/Delta of Venus

I believe I am posting way too much but without all the fistfights and kids jumping out of (1st floor)  windows because of summer break I am a bit bored. Anyway, there was a Henry Miller discussion in this group recently and while watching After Hours for research purposes last night Tropic of Cancer by Henry Miller came up. I took that to be a bit of a sign. The most impressive thing about Henry Miller was his ability to riff on any given subject for five minutes or five hours at a time.…See More
