"The Golden Earrings were a very versatile group , the kind of Pop music that does'nt make my colon clench. They ruled the Dutch scene for years , even if Outsiders , Q65 , etc. were more hard rockin'. I even like "Radar Love" era…"

Create a Comp?

So's I'm thinking how cool it would be to throw my dusty hat into the soybomb ring with a collection of uncomped 45s. Yes, I know it's not a moneymaking proposition, it's all about turning people on to hidden treasure. Anyone here try it? Was it a pain getting decent distribution?See More

I Hate MP3s

There's nothing more annoying (okay, maybe biting the inside of yer mouth...in the same place three times) than slapping that overpriced, three-quarters-of-the-songs-were-already-comped, I-wuz-butt-raped-with-Aussie-shipping-charges, transworld sixties mod beat punk collection onto your turntable or CD player and discovering the tracks are muddy, over-compressed MP3s. Really? Ya mean those acetates weren't crappy sounding enough? Afraid someone might accuse you of lifting your cursor away from…See More

Whatever. The point is, I've finally traversed the accidental detour- which is not to say I've witnessed…See More
