Members: Joy Vay - Vox/rythym guitar, Brian Sugent- Lead Guitar, Claude Coleman, jr. - Bass, Matt guzda- Druma TV Tramps is a four piece band from NJ who plays original and exciting music influenced by 1977 punk and old time rock n roll. With Joy Vay on vocals and rythym guitar, Brian Sugent on lead guitar, Matt Guzda on drums and Claude Coleman Jr. (of Ween and Eagles of Death Metal) on bass, TV Tramps makes in your face music for the new school punks who "get it" and the old school rockers who remember what it was like to live in the scene. Over the past 3 years they've shared the stage with such acts as The Avengers, Youth Brigade, Pure Hell, The Vibrators, The Rezillos and Jello Biafra and they continue to perform regulary in the Tri-State area while working on their first album which is expected to be released in mid 2013. TV Tramps has also been nominated for Asbury Park Music Award's Best Punk Band award in 2011 and 2012.
We've played at such NY venues as The Knitting Factory, Mercury Lounge, Europa, La Poisson Rouge, Fortune Cookie Lounge, Bar Matchless, The Trash Bar, Hank's Saloon, Local 269 and Otto's Shrunken Head.
We'd be honored and excited to be added to one of your current bills or put together a show with similar bands that can bring in a crowd.
