trying to get gigs on the west coast america

hi everyone

Trying to get some gigs on west coast for summer really love the bands over there at the moment, ty segall, thee oh sees just to mention a few. I play dirty stripped down garage rock and I am from London

If anyone can recommend any good venues or promoters to get in contact with would be really grateful

why does the uk music scene suck so many lemons

Very depressing to see advertised the other day that the maccabees are "the best guitar band in the uk"

really...?

is that what it has come too?

not only do we have very little garage bands but very few from America tour here either. Look at Prima Vera in Barcelona. Bands like Ty Segall, Thee Oh Sees have all played there but London is just sucking on lemons.
