Mad Mojo Marmalade

the Electric Prunes

This easy rider took a trip on May 6th to see these 60's legends. If they blow through your way, ya gotta catch 'em. Three original members (Jim Lowe, Ken Williams & Mark Tulin) you will get to meet, chit chat with and give and get hugs & kisses all around. They are as gracious with their time & friendliness as they are killer with their performance! Check out all those pedals! You won't be disappointed with the setlist which of course, includes the two well-known faves and Little Ol… Continue

Not sure if the Modey Lemons are still together. You can hear some cool stuff on WFMU here: http://freemusicarchive.org/music/Modey_Lemon/.

<<What have you been listening to lately?>>
Oh, mainly Jim Nabors, a little Andy Griffith ...
No actually I've been on a real hillbilly kick -- lots of old ('40s, early '50s) western swing, honky tonk and proto rockabilly. On a whole other area, over on the WSMU Free Music archive I've discovered a Pittsburgh bvand called The Modey Lemons that's pretty cool. They're in your state. You ever heard 'em? Plus my normal intake of garage/punk, raunchy R&B, and gutbucket blues. Just downloaded a great album by Paul "Wine" JOnes from eMusic.
