There's still .... A TERD HANGIN' OOT OF ME ARSE !!! ET WOONT COME OOT , ET WOONT COME OOT , ET'S TURTLE'S 'EDS !!!
"Neet Oot with The Geordies" , available at Wal - Mart or Wor - Lass.
John Battles said… Mark George , I think I failed to answer your inquiry about the Macc Ladds....I HAVE , AT TIMES , STRUGGLED TO UNDERSTAND THEM ...But , not so much , anymore. If you read as many Viz comics as I do , and own a Slade interview disc , you get a pretty good understanding of Geordie.THAT DOES'NT MEAN i WOULD'NT BE FUCKING CLUELESS IF MET WITH A REAL GEORDIE. i was at the GREEN BAY Rockabilly Fest , and I met all these Scottish people , I MEAN , NORTH OF SCOTLAND !!! They'd say kjfejkwhkdfkejkejkrkerkjk
And I was supposed to respond ! HA HA. These old Rockers from England , I'd tell 'em I LIKED THE ORIGINAL BRITISH ROCK 'N' ROLLERS , and one says , "Yeh? D'ya like Cliff Richard?". I'm half thinking it's a trick question , but, I go , "Sure , I like Cliff Richard" , and he says "Yehhh? So do we !".....It's so easy for people to take shots at him. It'd be like knocking Rick Nelson , just because he was'nt Elvis Presley , either! God ! Who cares ? But , I guess I'm getting an education , between Sid The Sexist and The Macc Ladds , like , the proper WORD for bathroom or toilet is "Bog", and "AIDS" is pronounced "YEEDS". dON cRAINE TOLD ME , jOE mEEK Did'nt record inthe kitchen , as is widely believed , but , rather IN THE BOG !!!! "WHY'D YE HEV TEH GAN TELL ME FRIENDS AH DIED ON THE BOG ?!!!!" Steptoe and Son.
John Battles said… Mark George ,
You're right , but , you know , if I don't have any children , I'm OK with that. I'VE WORKED WITH KIDS , OFF AND ON. Sometimes they need to know you're one of theirs , and don't represent authority , except , if you have to tell them , on someone else's behalf , that they can't be acting out... I found out about The Macc Ladds in Viz comics , then when I actually heard them, I bust a gut ! I think people take stuff like that too seriously...Are you English , yourself ? Needless to say , most of my (Our?) Countrymen don't know the Macc Ladds , or understand their appeal. I think they were actually banned from performing inThe U.S. Geez , it's not like they're Skrewdriver or something ! John.
I don't know what I've loved hearing more:
"John , I want to be just like you when I grow up".
or "What do YOU want to be when you grow up , John?".
John Battles said… Mark George , Thanks forthe Friend Request. Wow , I'm 47 , too , and I don't have any children. i MUST BE SLIPPIN'. I love The Macc Ladds. THEY'RE JUST WRONG !!!!
i THINK "Fluffy Pup" and "I Can't Find The Man in The Boat" (Which I don't even have.) are some of my favorites. John.
