Hi all,We're preparing a super-limited (only 100 copy) 4-song VINYL release, and the band would like to hear what colored-vinyl and label combinations you think would be coolest? - I'm Timothy Gassen, a filmmaker, music producer, publisher, journalist and longtime screamer with the band THE MARSHMALLOW OVERCOAT, celebrating our 25th year in 2011. I am also frontman for THE PURPLE MERKINS, with lots of 45s and an album (available now as a CD). I produce other garage-psych groups, and have been an A&R guy for record labels.
I'm also the author of both the print version and DVD version of THE KNIGHTS OF FUZZ, documenting the neo-garage explosion since 1980. I've also written hundreds of features and reviews for newspapers and magazines worldwide. The late Greg Shaw dubbed me "The Guru of Garage," and for that I am grateful. :)

We have a few autographed, limited edition 6-CD Marshmallow Overcoat "Complete Sound" box sets left for sale.
