Formed in East London in late December 2011 these four girls took a very premature set of 8 fast, fun songs and went to play their first show in Camden in January 2012 not even with a name continued to play twice a month around London until April 2012 when they finally decided that Mean Bikini suited them perfectly.

Mean Bikini deliver songs with a new wave, lo-fi, garage punk/surf and american indie influences complemented with catchy minimal lyrics and fun attitude.
Frequently compared to The Slits, The Fall and British punk band Anorexia.
