Wow, I posted in this thread like 9 months ago... Since then, I went on a total Thomas Liogtti kick - weird tales in a very dark and bleak mode. Pretty amazing.
I am also super excited about Night Shade Books' Clark Ashton Smith series - 5 well-m...
Just one - the first and only cover I have done so far. Not nearly as interesting as those above, but the band liked it and I was satisfied. (Most of my work is boring corporate design stuff.)
Agree with the above posts, there were definitely pre-Beatles rock bands. I don't know the exact year of origination of the term to signify this kind of music, but "rockin' and rollin'" as a euphemism for sex goes back a lot farther than that. Bil...

Don't mean to step on any toes (well, actually if my opinion on things angers some... oh well. That's Rock N' Roll, baby!) about The Makers. They are one of my all time favorites... but "Psychopathia Sexualis" is where they (and I think this is what I said on the show) decided to SUCK! Honestly, I've only listened to that album maybe twice; and I think that I liked 2 songs. But, when I can listen to all the albums up to that one and absolutely LOVE every single track on 'em - who need an album with two good tracks?! But, that's just my opinion.
Again, thanks for listening, and keep yer eardrums tuned to more of The (real) Makers in the very near future!!
Hey man how's it going? At first I was like who is that? Then I saw where you where from and put it all together. Cool I didn't know you where on here otherwise I would have found you earlier. Thanks for finding us! oh and I agree i'm loving Wau Y Los Arrrghs !!! good stuff
