Roy and the Devils Motorcycle & Navel - ISC, 20130117

What a harsh night that was... After several moons of relative calmness, with some minor exceptions like the not-so-bad-but-not-so-wild Trashbones gig in Solothurn, I was quite excited to see and hear the Roys here in Bern again. As they were billed together with Navel, one of the very coolest and most energetic post-grunge-flower-punk garage combos around, everyone with their heart on the wild side made sure to be there. Not soo wild this time, but wild enough to make us dance and yell again. Mostly Arabia Mountain tunes, if I remember right. Senile's Alain was convinced, and…See More

Jackets - Heart-beating, indeed.

Must've been my 100th Jackets gig, yesterday down the street at Bern's infamous Reitschule. And boy (girl) were they great, again. Make sure you don't miss Jackie, Chris & Schmidi one single time! They will always be ripping through their great original sets! Yeah! And buy their new record, now!See More

Slightly more relevant for me than some other cool cats' ocean pacific tour events, if thinking locally, will be the following dates of one of the finest combos around here... The Roys are going to play some mindblowing gigs again, I suppose. Go and have a look!
