I am the host of a weekly psychedelic show called Psychedelic Pete's Underground Freakout. You can catch all the archived shows from the past 4 yrs on my website.
It is an eclectic mix of various underground sounds from the 60's and early 70's, with a few exceptions here and there- like 80's garage or newer psych bands. But mostly I stay in that decade from 64- 73.
I used to be quite active a s a musician as well but not much anymore.
Dave O'Halloran (What Wave Dave) remembers me as Chicago Pete, playing my harmonica for whomever I could. - all forms of music - not just the blues. - a lot of folk , country and bluegrass as well as I got to play in a garage band called Lost Patrol a few times. Really enjoyed the 80's garage scene! My last public performance was last April when Lucas Stagg (son of Amish member Doug Stagg) and I opened up for Ray Materick at the Boathouse. That was a fun evening. Ray is still spellbinding.
I also do a Psychedelic Psnack feature on Oldies 1090. I am hoping to collect a lot of these and post them on my site so you can all hear them.
