About The Facement

Back in the Winter of 2010, we had a math rock band 2 piece (bass/drums) Portamanteau renting out rehearsal space in the house. They'd rock out, then we would all get shitfaced in our pseudo-basement/garage. When it came time for them to play a show, we decided to honor our alcoholism with the name The Facement. Born and raised in San Diego, California. Couldn't wait to leave. I'm not a city/desert/suburban superficial shithole kinda person.

Moved up to Arcata in 2007. Gotta love them trees. Co-Founded a non-profit DIY house venue, "The Facement" January 2011. All proceeds to touring bands.

Movies are fine and all, but I definitely don't own any. Music is the only thing I return to constantly.
